Washington D.C. – The Health Equity Collaborative (HEC), a broad-based group comprised of national civil rights, progressive, and multicultural organizations launched a new video focused on the current health crisis faced by underserved and underrepresented communities.
The video features a collection of interviews with HEC members emphasizing the importance of addressing health disparities experienced by vulnerable populations, past and present examples of systemic health injustice, and equitable solutions to better address the unique needs of diverse communities.
Groups featured in the video include Black Women’s Health Imperative, LatinosAgainstAlzheimer’s, MANA National, South Asian Public Health Association, Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and Women Impacting Public Policy.
